Rating System
The Dal-ACM has created a rating system by which reviewers can pictorially rate the reviewed book. This is not exact, and is of course very subjective. Its meant to be supplementary to the review text since many people like pictures!
The rating is called the "Baltzer System". The system is based on a 1-to-5 scale where 1 denotes a rather unliked book and not worth the read, 3 is an "OK" book which is not painful to read and perhaps worth the time. 5 Baltzers are given to a book illustrating some combination of the utmost level of creativity, being highly informative, exhibit an "easy read" quality, critical to an area of interest, and a very pretty cover. (> 5 Baltzers go to those books that should really form their own religions). Everything else is somewhere in between.
